Our mid-summer's dream was to send cancer kids and their siblings to camp at the breathtakingly beautiful and serene Camp Courage in Maple Lake, Minnesota.

This is a medically equipped camp with a full staff of medical professionals. Kids with cancer and their brothers and sisters can get away for a week of extraordinary camping, fun in the sun, fully stocked with all the traditional activities and adventures of a regular camping experience, but without the worries that would ordinarily make camp for a cancer kid out of the question.

We enjoy providing this benefit to all the kids in the family, and parents get to take the week off too, but they stay home to enjoy their respite time. Words cannot adequately describe the benefits provided to the entire family and child with cancer by this north woods outing. The smiles on all of their faces tell the story best. Thanks so much to our benefactors who provide the necessary support to make this camp 100% free to all of the campers.

In 2009, 113 pediatric cancer and blood disease patients, as well as their siblings, attended MiracleKids Kamp.
