New Year's Eve Celebration Offers Fun for All

Nearly 500 people jammed into the ballroom at the Hilton MSP Airport the seventh annual Minnesota Miracle New Year's Eve Celebration. Kids of all ages enjoyed a fun-filled evening with dinner and program hosted by KARE 11's Eric Perkins, as well as silent and live auctions. Live music from CBO kept the dancefloor packed all night long, and kids enjoyed a variety of' activities--everything from bingo and video games to tying blankets for cancer patients on Minnesota Miracle weekends.

For those people who bought a hotel package and stayed overnight, they awoke to a fantastic New Year's Day brunch. Thank you to our generous sponsors, donors, volunteers and attendees for making this a very special evening to ring in 2012.

Three Cheers for the Toys, Toys, Toys

The Miracles of Mitch Foundation was blessed with a variety of organizations hosting toy drives during the holiday season. One For Joe held an event at Andover Cinemas that attracted several hundred people and included Santa Claus with his sleigh and reindeer, and generated more than 1,000 items. In addition, more than 700 toys were generated through these generous organizations hosting toy drives: Edina Realty's Chanhassen and Wayzata branches, TekSystems, and the Great Wolf Swim Team. Also, in January Rodan & Fields, well as a group of Chanhassen High School students, held toy drives.

These generous toy donations will provide a variety of gifts for cancer patients enjoying a Minnesota Miracle weekend getaway with their families.

The Miracles of Mitch Foundation lobby was just one of the office areas filled with toys from generous donors to a variety of toy drives for our Minnesota Miracle program.
